Frequently asked

What happens to my Legacy plan if VertualMe closes? +

We hold all legacy funds in a separate escrow account and maintain a "legacy continuity" agreement with a third-party trustee. If VertualMe ever closes, your vault contents are transferred to your Trusted Executor, your charitable funds are donated to your chosen charities, and your family is notified. Full details are in our Trust & Privacy policy.

Can I upgrade from Free to Legacy later? +

Yes — everything you've set up on Free carries over. You don't start again. Upgrade any time from your account settings and your existing profile, relationships, and stories are immediately unlocked to their full potential.

Is the Legacy plan really a one-time fee? +

Yes. $399 covers lifetime vault storage, all legacy features, and ongoing post-death actions for as long as VertualMe operates. The only additional costs are for flowers/gifts (at provider cost), charitable donations (2% processing), and optional printed memoirs. There are no annual legacy renewal fees.

What are the flower and gift charges? +

Flowers and gifts are charged at the exact provider cost — Bloomex, Interflora, or hamper providers. VertualMe adds zero markup. You pay what the florist charges. Charges appear on the payment method you set in your account. You can set a monthly spending cap.

Can I cancel Premium any time? +

Yes — cancel any time from your account settings. Your data is retained for 12 months after cancellation, so you can reactivate without losing anything. After 12 months, data is securely deleted unless you request otherwise.

Is there a free trial? +

Yes — all new accounts get a 30-day free trial of Premium. No credit card required. At the end of the trial you can stay on Free or upgrade. Nothing is deleted if you choose Free.

What currency are prices in? +

All prices are in Australian dollars (AUD). We accept Visa, Mastercard, and PayPal via Stripe. International customers are welcome — pricing is displayed in AUD and converted at your bank's exchange rate at checkout.
